A graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Dianna Garcia is proud to work at the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving as a physician assistant in the family practice department. For years, Garcia has helped patients find better health and offered them care and individual attention. Now, she is ready to help you and your family feel better at our North Texas clinic.
Garcia began her medical education at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she received her degree in Biology/Pre-Med. After graduating, she attended the renowned UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas as part of the physician assistant program. She graduated and began her professional career, which has taken her all over North Texas and beyond. Garcia has worked in clinics in Lewisville, Dallas, as well as clinics in Maryland. Her experience has helped her give the best care possible to patients of all ages and makes her a great part of the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving team.
On top of her extensive experience, Garcia is certified as an Assistant to Primary Care Physician. She is also licensed by the Texas State Board of Medicine. Over the course of her career, she has received honors including Physician Assistant of the Year from the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, the Extra Mile Community Service Award, and nominated as Physician Assistant of the Year multiple times in the Parkland Health and Hospital System. Additionally, Garcia is fluent in both English and Spanish for the benefit of her patients.
