Allison discovered her life’s calling to provide women’s health care services on a volunteering trip in Thailand nearly ten years ago. After returning from this experience, Allison pursed an education in nursing, so that she could fulfill her passion. Since 2010, Allison has been practicing as an advanced practice registered nurse with a specialty in women’s health care in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. She is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse-Midwife.
Allison earned her bachelor of science in nursing with cum laude honors from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and then went on to receive her master of science in nursing with a specialty in Women’s Health and Nurse-Midwifery from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics, and Neonatal Nurses. She is certified in electronic fetal monitoring and as an advanced life support in obstetrics (ALSO) provider.
Allison enjoys caring for women of all ages, especially adolescent women and women in their reproductive years. Allison considers it an honor to have the opportunity to educate women about their health so that they may become active participants and decision makers about their health, and understand the full range of options available to them to meet their women’s health care needs.
