
The President of the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving, Dr. Roy B. Rochon specializes inĀ general surgery, where he thrives as he meets both the mental and physical challenges. He has been with the Irving clinic since 1993.
Dr. Rochon earned his medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee before going on to complete an internship and residency in General Surgery at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX. He also completed a fellowship in Trauma/Critical Care at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Rochon holds board certifications in both Critical Care and General Surgery, and has hospital affiliations at Las Colinas Medical Center as well as Baylor Medical Center at Irving.
He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Southwestern Surgical Congress, National Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, and Dallas County Society of General Surgeons. While he is an accomplished surgeon, Dr. Rochon cites his two children as his proudest accomplishment.
