Internal Medicine in Irving | Ty C. Maddox DO

Ty Carl Maddox, D.O. grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. He is a graduate of Abilene Christian University where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree. He received his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth where he graduated with honors. After medical school he completed his internal medicine training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He later served as the chief resident and was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Following his residency he served as an assistant professor and was involved in education of medical students and physicians in training. He then moved back to Texas where he began his internal medicine practice at The Medical & Surgical Clinic of Irving in 2003. Dr. Maddox is a diplomate of The American Board of Internal Medicine and is an active member of The American College of Physicians.

Dr. Maddox believes prevention is the key to health and well-being and he is committed to providing the highest quality of medical care to his patients by developing strong physician-patient relationships in which patients are involved and take responsibility managing their health.

He enjoys playing basketball, golf and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
