Born in Connecticut, Dr. Sharon received much of her education and professional training from prestigious universities and programs in the Northeast. She spent her undergraduate years at the University of Connecticut studying Physiology and Neurobiology with a minor in Molecular and Cell Biology. In 2000, she attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, where she received her M.D. After completing the program, she participated in the residency program at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Internal Medicine. With her residency completed, Dr. Cebik moved to the Irving, Texas, area where she joined the Medical and Surgical Clinic in Internal Medicine.
Striving to deliver the very best care for her patients, Dr. Cebik chose the field of Internal Medicine to understand a wide variety of medical conditions. Her greatest satisfaction comes from helping patients reach personal goals and improving their overall wellness. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Cebik is married; her husband is also a physician at Baylor Medical Center in Irving; they have two children.
