Nurse Practitioner Nico Vail enters the pediatrician department in hopes of helping the youngest patients in North Texas get the best start possible. She is a certified pediatric care nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, and has a Masters of Science in Nursing.
Vail earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing. After graduating from the nursing school, Vail worked at the Children’s Hospital in Birmingham in the Medical Surgical Unit. From there, she returned to the University of Alabama, where she received her Masters of Science in Nursing degree. With her time in Alabama drawing to a close, Vail set her sights on Texas, where she joined the Primary Care clinic in Ennis, Texas. She then joined with the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving.
In addition to being certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in primary care, Vail is also a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
