Kevin Potts works at the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving as an audiologist. Committed to helping patients deal with problems involving hearing, Potts works with patients both young and old. Hearing is a sense that many of us take for granted until something negatively impacts it. As such, Potts does his best to help patients recover their hearing.
Potts holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He later went on to receive a Master’s of Science in Audiology from OU. While at the University of Oklahoma, he participated in a research project that dealt with automated brainstem response used to diagnose central auditory processing disorders. On top of his education, Potts has a number of professional affiliations, including the American Speech-Language Hearing Association as well as the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, Potts worked at a number of medical institutions. Most recently, Potts worked as a dispensing audiologist where he helped patients interpret diagnostic hearing tests, as well as helped patients with hearing instruments. He also worked with a local North Texas school district as an audiologist. Just before joining MSCI, Potts worked as a clinical audiologist at a Charlton ENT private practice. There, he performed hearing tests, dispensed hearing instruments, and worked with patients for aural rehabilitation.
